Ma rencontre avec Alberta Pane date des éditions “Le Guide Mayer, le dictionnaire référence des enchères d’Art.
Alberta est directrice éditoriale du guide. Quelle chance de faire partie de son pool de rédactrices.

Passionnée d’Art, elle m’impressionne par sa culture et son amour d’un Art Contemporain novateur.

Nous parlions de Mode, d’Amour et d’Art ! Son rêve, créer une galerie.

Quelle fierté et émotion, quand elle ouvert sa première galerie parisienne, juste en face de chez moi (rue Saint-Claude), dans le Marais en 2008…

Quelle surprise d’apprendre que nous avons des amis communs qui aiment se plonger dans le Grand Canal à Venise, et que sa galerie est juste en face de notre appartement éphémère pour la La Biennale di Venezia di Architettura 2018.

Je découvre une autre facette d’Alberta Pane au travers de l’interview illustré in-situ, du livre “Aimez-vous l’art ?” de Frédéric Elkaïm et France Dumas.

I meet Alberta Pane a Le Mayer Guide publications, the auction reference dictionary.
She is the editorial director of the guide, and I was lucky to be part of her editorial pool.

Passionate about Art, she impresses me with her culture and her love of an innovative type of contemporary art.

We talked about Fashion, Love and Art! Her dream, create a gallery.

What a proud moment when she opened her first Parisian gallery, , just in front of my home (rue Saint-Claude) in the Marais in 2008 …

What a surprise to discover that we have common friends (who like to immerse themselves in the Grand Canal in Venice) …

And that her gallery is right in front of our ephemeral apartment for our visit of La Biennale di Venezia di Architettura 2018.

Quelle émotion de visiter cette toute nouvelle galerie vénitienne qui vient de fêter ses 1 an (mai 2017).

Dans un espace spacieux de 350 m2, avec une belle hauteur sous plafond, Alberta Pane a préservé l’âme authentique de l’ancienne menuiserie.

Sa nouvelle galerie espace est à son image: charismatique, avant-gardiste, passionnée avec une atmosphère unique.

Dans l’esprit de la Biennale di Venezia, l’espace est énergique et captivant.

Accueillis par les installations abstraites et géométriques d’Esther Stocker, le couloir se met en mouvement. Une partition musicale silencieuse, hypnotique…

Welcomed by the abstract and geometric installations of Esther Stocker, the corridor sets in motion. A silent, hypnotic musical score …

What an emotion to visit this brand new Venetian gallery, celebrating its 1 year anniversary (opened in May 2017).

In a wide 350m2 space with high ceilings, Alberta Pane preserved the authenthic soul of the former carpentry shop.

Her new space is for me, at her image, avant-garde, charismatic, passionate, and with a unique atmosphere.

In the spirit of the Biennale di Venezia, the space is energetic and captivating.

Space, order… Logic? Illogic? … Is is precision or confusion ? Hypnotic for sure !

Et doucement, la galerie commence à se métamorphoser. Alberta Pane nous donne un outil pour plonger dans les univers parallèles de Marie Lelouche …

Une expérience incroyable !!!

J’aime le mélange de cette sculpture architecturale, de technologie, d’interactivité et de l’histoire poétique ….

Un questionnement sur la réalité matérielle de notre environnement, nos perceptions, nos sens…

A questioning about the material reality of our environment, our perceptions, our senses …

I love the mix of this architectural sculpture, technology, interactivity and the poetic story ….

J’avais remarqué ce patio magnifique donnant sur le canal et l’avais prise en photo. en me disant que les propriétaires devaient être des personnes poétiques.
Encore une surprise ! Il s’agit du dernier espace de la galerie qui s’ouvre sur le charmant canal: Rio Del Tentor. WOW!!!

Begüm Canel

Begüm Canel, an artist from Istanbul, at the crossroads of Europe and Asia.

Begüm Canel, une artiste, originaire d’Istanbul, à la croisée de l’Europe et de l’Asie.

A predestigned virtual meeting. It is thanks to luck and technology that Begüm watched “Precut Girl“, the film in which I played.
She is inspired by strong images of the film, she will integrate to her work. She invited me into her kitchen and in her exhibition project without knowing my link Culinare. I’m too proud to have my portrait exhibited with her paintings.

Une rencontre virtuelle pré-destinée. C’est grâce au hasard et à la technologie que Begüm regarde le film Precut Girl, dans lequel je joue. Elle s’inspire d’images fortes du film qu’elle intégrera à son travail. Elle m’a invité dans sa cuisine et dans son projet d’exposition , sans connaître mon lien au culinare. Je suis trop fière d’avoir mon portrait exposé avec ses peintures.

I found analogies with Bengüm’s work and “Alice in Wonderland“and “Through the Looking-Glass“by Lewis Carroll which I love so much.

Hidden spaces, mysterious characters, secret symbols …

Je retrouve des analogies entre entre le travail de Bengüm et “Alice au pays des merveilles” et “De l’autre côté du miroir” de Lewis Carroll que j’affectionne tant.
Ses espaces cachés, ses personnages mystérieux, ses symboles secrets…

The chef, the only character in the paintings.

Un chef dansant, le seul personnage figurant dans les peintures.

A reflection on the kitchen as a space of exchanges, talks, parties but also darker moments of life.
In the paintings of Begüm, the kitchen is both warm and cold, the walls seem embodied by strange spirits, between reality and dream …

The space as witnesses of the past and of experienced emotions.

Une réflexion sur la cuisine en tant qu’espace d’échanges, de fêtes, de discussions mais aussi de moments plus sombre de la vie.
Dans les peintures de Begüm, la cuisine est à la fois chaleureuse et froide, les murs semblent incarnés par des esprits étranges, entre réalité et rêve… Les murs d’une cuisine comme témoins du passé et des émotions vécues.

A strange dinner, cold, almost like a laboratory tasting. A fantastic atmosphere like out of a scene from a Kubrick film.
