Le Petit Duc is charming sweets and biscuits shop.

Here is the video of my visit and meeting with Laurent Palanque, the owner of Le Petit Duc and Maison Charaix.

Le Petit Duc is a biscuit maker and brand.

Pretty gift boxes or ready to eat packs…

Candies & Sweets

Colourful French traditional sweets like almond dragées… 

So many lovely delights in cute packagings !

Delicate flowers, leaves and seeds crystallised in sugar…

Calissons

Calissons are traditional delicious French candies from Aix-en-Provence.

It is made with a paste of almond and candied fruit (apricots, melons, oranges…), matzo and topped with a sugar icing.

Of course, Le Petit Duc have different flavours of calissons: Damask Rose, pistachio, orange…

 

Nougats

Nougat, a confectionary usually composed of sugar, honey, roasted nuts, whipped egg whites.

Le Petit Duc different have some exclusives ones, like with pine nuts.

 

The “Joyful” macarons.

You can also find the famous Les Macarons de Joyeuse. The most ancient and authentic macaron !!!

 And last but not least, the staff of the shop is incredibly friendly, helpful and sweet… YES it is rare in Paris but it exists !!! 

It is very close to Eiffel Tower, so if you are in the area and looking for nice gifts, it is ideal !
