Ground Control Paris 2017

For three months, Ground Control Paris 2017, sets up on the terrace of a former postal sorting center (before its redevelopment) rue de Charolais, in the 12th.

1500m2 with 6 ephemeral restaurants, 3 bars, vegetable gardens (Fermes de Gally), nature workshops, exhibitions, concerts ….

Pendant trois mois, Ground Control Paris 2017, s’installe sur la terrasse d’un ancien centre de tri postal (avant son réaménagement), rue de Charolais, dans le 12ème.
1500m2 avec 6 restaurants éphémères, 3 bars, des potagers (Fermes de Gally), des workshops nature, expos, concerts….

Garden / Organic

The theme of the year is centered around the garden and organic food (juices, ice cream, vegetarian burger).

I love the humoristic botanical garden by Ferme de Gally.

Le thème de l’année est centrée autour du jardin et du bio (jus, glaces, burger végétarien).

Mama Shelter Paris Rooftop | New design

Mama Shelter is a boutique hotel I love. I usually dislike chains but I always had a nice time there.
I remember having a birthday party a long time ago on this rooftop.

I love the vivid colors, flowers, light garlands, wide and cozy benches where you can lie down and look at the sky.

Mama Shelter est un hôtel de charme que j’adore.
Je n’aime généralement pas les chaînes mais j’ai toujours passé un bon moment là-bas.
Je me souviens avoir une fête d’anniversaire il y a longtemps sur ce toit.
J’aime les couleurs pop, les fleurs, les guirlandes lumineuses, les banquettes larges et cosy où l’on peut s’allonger pour regarder le ciel.

Fruit based low alcohol cocktails. Beach bar style.

Les cocktails à base de fruits et légers en alcool. Ambiance bar de plage.

New Food | Vegetarian

The vegetable starters are tasty with excellent seasonnings. Cool picnic mood.

Houmous, lemon confit, paprika, bread, pita => Delicious

Lentils, mustard vinaigrette => I usually find lentils boring and it was good !

Les entrées végétales très bien assaisonnées sont savoureuses. Un petit air de pique-nique.
Houmous, citron confit, paprika, pain, pita => Très bon
Lentilles, vinaigrette moutardée => Je trouve habituellement les lentilles ennuyeuses et c’était bon!

Cauliflower steamed with gribiche sauce (mayonnaise-style cold egg sauce) => Great seasonning.

Chou-fleur vapeur, sauce gribiche => Simple mais excellent assaisonnement.

Rôtisserie

What’s new, the rôtisserie and the plancha for roasted farmer’s chicken and grilled sea bass fillet of bar.

Nouveautés, la rôtisserie et la plancha pour les volailles fermières des landes à la broche et des filet de bar grillés.

Fun atmosphere with a table football and a ping-pong table. Free yoga sessions, children workshops (boom, DIY, make-up, games …)

Ambiance fun avec un babyfoot et une table de ping-pong. A venir des séances de yoga gratuites, des ateliers enfants (boom, DIY, maquillage, jeux…)

And for more freshness, a ceviche of fish.

Et pour plus de fraîcheur, un ceviche de poisson, grenobloise.

Desserts

The desserts are home-style cooking. Simple and good.
Fruit tarts, fresh fruit salad, strawberries with sugar and whipped cream.

Les desserts sont d’esprit familial. Simples et bons.
Tartes aux fruits, salade de fruits frais, fraises aux sucre et à la chantilly.

Elektrik Giner & cold peas and mint gaspacho. Ideal for a summer drink.

Elektrik Giner & rafraîchi de petits pois à la menthe. Fraîcheur idéal pour un apéro d’été.
